The Loan Options below apply whether PURCHASING A HOME TO RENOVATE or RENOVATING YOUR CURRENT HOME.

FHA 203(K) Limited

This program is design for small renovation projects. If the house needs $35,000 in renovations or less, this may the right choice for you. With a down payment requirement of only 3.5% and flexible credit qualification, this program is very accessible.

FHA 203(K) Standard

This program is designed for larger renovation projects. Almost any renovation can be accomplished with the FHA 203(k) Standard program, from structural repair to home additions. Like the FHA 203(k) Limited program, there are flexible qualifications and only a 3.5% down payment required.

This program is very flexible with regard to renovation project types. If the renovation project adds value to the home, you can likely do it. Above all the typical renovation projects that may come to mind, FNMA Homestyle allows for miscellaneous additions like swimming pools, landscaping, etc. With a down payment requirement of only 5%, this program is also very accessible.
